Training in the future sector of online printing
Apprentices start with a two-day onboarding.
Eight young people will start their vocational training at ONLINEPRINTERS in September and October 2020. They will be trained as media technologists in various fields or IT specialists. "Training our own young talent is very important to us because it enables us to qualify specialists who are professionals in our industrial printing environment. Training is therefore a crucial element for us in securing the future of our site since we continue to grow and need skilled specialists," Roland Keppler says; he is the CEO of the ONLINEPRINTERS Group. The majority of the company's trainees continue their careers at ONLINEPRINTERS after successfully completing their apprenticeship.
The apprentices at ONLINEPRINTERS are supervised by experienced skilled staff from the different departments together with HR manager Juliana Gubar. She says: "All our trainees take part in comprehensive onboarding at the beginning of their apprenticeship which lasted two days for the first time this year." The apprentices learn what makes the ONLINEPRINTERS business model so successful and how the company has evolved from a traditional family-run printing business to one of Europe's leading online printers and a corporate group of companies with 1,660 employees in just 16 years.
